SENIOR (2016): Started all 13 games • led team with 83 tackles • made five tackles for loss, broke up four passes, made two interceptions and recovered one interception. Game-by-Game: Recorded four tackles and broke up one pass against Oregon State • tallied four tackles with one fumble recovery against Indiana State • made eight tackles and had one interception against Colorado State • made nine tackles and had one pass breakup at Penn State • registered seven tackles against Iowa and made six tackles at Maryland • made an interception and recorded eight tackles against Rutgers • notched six tackles at Illinois • recorded a team high eight tackles against Purdue • tallied six tackles at Nebraska • registered four tackles against Northwestern • recorded six tackles at Wisconsin • broke up one pass and made seven tackles against Washington State. 

REDSHIRT (2015): Started against TCU and made 10 tackles • missed the rest of the season with an injury • received a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA and was granted one more year of eligibility, which he is using during the 2016-17 season. 

JUNIOR (2014): Started seven of 13 games played • made 61 tackles, including 3.5 for a loss • broke up five passes • recorded two interceptions, forced one fumble and recovered one fumble. Game-by-Game: Broke up one pass against Eastern Illinois • made three tackles against Middle Tennessee • made three tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, and broke up one pass at TCU • tallied four tackles, one interception and .5 tackle-for-loss against San Jose State • broke up two passes and made one tackle at Michigan • made five tackles, broke up one pass and made one interception for the final play of the game against Northwestern • tallied seven tackles, including one for a loss, against Purdue • recorded three tackles (one tackle-for-loss) at Illinois • made five tackles against Iowa • notched seven tackles against Ohio State • made eight tackles and returned a fumble 24 yards at Nebraska • second on the team with a season-high 10 tackles at Wisconsin • made five tackles against Missouri.

SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in 13 games and started two • made 28 tackles and broke up four passes. Game-by-Game: Made two tackles against UNLV • recorded three tackles at New Mexico State • started against Western Illinois and recorded one pass breakup and two tackles • registered two tackles against San Jose State • saw action against Iowa • made one solo tackle at Michigan • started at safety at Northwestern, where he made three tackles and broke up two passes • recorded one tackle and broke up one pass against Nebraska • made four tackles at Indiana and three tackles against Penn State • registered four tackles against Wisconsin • made two tackles at Michigan State and against Syracuse.

FRESHMAN (2012): Played in all 13 games and made eight tackles. Game-by-Game: Made his Minnesota and collegiate debut at UNLV • recorded his first career tackle in a win against Syracuse • had three tackles at Wisconsin • made one tackle vs. Michigan and one at Nebraska • notched two tackles vs. Texas Tech.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Pensacola High School • led team to a 9-3 record, a district championship and a regional semifinal game as a senior • named second-team Florida Class 6A all-state • earned all-area honors • coached by Mike Bennett.

PERSONAL: Born April 19, 1994 • son of Gregory and Catherine Travis • has already earned his degree in sport management • working on a certificate program in human resource development.
