SENIOR (2016):  First team all-Conference USA in a vote by the league’s 13 head football coaches ... the first 49er to garner a first team all-league award in the program’s short history ... ranked fourth in C-USA (all games) in TFL with 13.5 and second in C-USA games only with 11.5 ... led C-USA defensive linemen in tackles in league games (6.9) and tackles in all games (5.5) ... he led Charlotte with 13.5 TFL for the 4th straight season and topped the team with 3.0 sacks for the third season ... tied his own school-record with 4.5 TFL vs. FIU ... late in the season, he was rated first by Pro Football Focus among NCAA interior defensive lineman in run-stop pct. and he helped the 49ers rank third in the league in run defense (143.4 rushing yards allowed/game). HIGH SCHOOL: Named to the first team all-Conference defense as a junior and senior, Ogunjobi helped the Tommy Norwood-coached Tigers to back-to-back conference championships as part of a run of five straight titles for the Tigers ... The Tigers went 9-3 in 2011, earning a share of the Piedmont-Triad 4A title and 10-3 in 2010 ... first team all-Area and Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman in 2011 after recording double-digit sacks and nearly 60 tackles ... began playing football as a sophomore and was the JV team’s Most Improved Player in 2009 before earning back-to-back first team all-conference honors ... an A and A/B Honor roll student.
